Here we are at the end of June, already!   Why is it that summer just flies by?  I hope everyone is having some relaxing summer fun!   The Twisted Thursday Challenge over at the Outlawz this week is a fun easy one.   The challenge is, as always..."Anything Goes....with the twist being....Anything Goes"!  So anything works!  I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!
I used Bestie Image #830.   Doesn't she look cool and relaxed?  I colored her with Copic pens and used water soluble crayons to color the water background.  They are fun to work with.  I added some dimensional stickers....the wave and the sandy beach.  I used an embossed dark blue background layer, a die cut of a Palm tree, and letters that say Relax, on the right hand side.   They are glittered and kind of hard to see in the picture.

Inside I added some wave borders, another palm tree, some fish and a sticker that says...
"Its 5 o'clock Somewhere", along with a Margarita!   It seems like a perfect summer day!

Hi everyone, I hope you are all enjoying some nice summer weather!   I have a new card to share today for Deedee's Digis challenge!  This is such a fun progressive challenge to enter!
This cute image is just one of this month's images with which to work!   Isn't she cute?
I colored her with my Copic Pens and cut two scalloped circles using SB dies.  I added some sea gulls  to the air, and some glitter paper to the water!   I then mounted the image on a wobbler, so it looks like she is bobbing on the water!

Deedee's images come with the cutest sentiments!
I hope you will check out and enter the challenge going on over at Deedee's Digis!

Thanks for stopping in!
Have a great day!

It is almost the first day  of summer and I am sure everyone is very happy about that!  I hope summer weather has arrived in your area!   Well, it is Thursday, so that means a new Twisted Thursday challenge starts today over at the Outlawz!  The theme for this week is as always...."Anything Goes...with the twist being....First Day Of Summer!"  There are so many fun things you can do with this theme!   I had a hard time deciding which way to go with this one, but finally decided on this!
This is Bestie image 831!  Isn't she cute!!  I remember loving these kinds of inner tubes when I was a kid!  I colored her with my Copic Pens, added a background done with Gelatos and then added some die cuts.   I cut a fun cloud shape twice in one size using white paper to stamp my sentiment on, and then a background layer of blue glitter paper.   I then added another smaller cloud in just the glitter paper.   At the bottom I cut two water waves out of the same glitter paper.  I added some Wink Of Stella to the inner tube for some sparkle and some Stickles to the flowers on her shoes, and Glossy Accents on her eyes.  I, also, added some polka dot ribbon to the front.

Inside I just cut a fancy SB die for an insert, and added some blue flowers with a bit  more glitter paper, to bring that color to the inside.

This week's Twisted Thursday Challenge over at the Outlawz is a different and fun challenge!  This week it is the usual, "Anything Goes...with the twist being...Sewing or Faux sewing"!  You can actually do some stitching on your project, or you can add faux stitches with a pen!   Lots of possibilities, and I can't wait to see what projects you all make!
I used this cute Besties Image #906!  I cut the image and matted it, using three different sized SB Dies.  I then used the WeR Memory Keepers Paper sewing tool.   I used the tool that punches curved slots so that you can thread a ribbon through it for a ribbon sewing effect.   It is very easy to do.   I also added some gemstones and a paper bow.   The bow was cut with an Elizabeth Craft Designs Die, and then I ran it through my Xyron making the front sticky and added glitter!

Inside, I just added some Washi tape across the top and bottom, and three layers of a SB Label Die, with a simple stamped sentiment.
I hope to see you at the Outlawz!

It is the beginning of June and it is starting to heat up everywhere!  School is getting done and it is time for those Dance Recitals to be taking place.   I love to see the little girls in their fancy dance costumes, which is why I chose this week's image!  Our sponsors for the month of June are: Besties and the Paper Temptress!  The Besties images are so cute and such fun to color, and if you haven't visited the Paper Temptress, you are missing the best place to buy all types of paper!  Fabulous paper deals and the best service is what you get!
So, this week's Twisted Thursday challenge at the Outlawz is the usual, "Anything Goes.....with the twist  being....A Feminine Card"!
This is Polly, and she is image 59.   Isn't she the cutest?  Of course, I colored her with my Copic Pens, cut the image out with a SB die and added some gemstones at the top and a French sentiment that means I Love You ( at least I think, and hope, that is what it means)!   The background layer is a piece of Shimmer Sheets!   This is the first time I worked with this stuff, and I have to tell you, I love it!   It embosses so beautifully and it is just so shimmery, and changes with the light, and comes in many colors!  The only problem I had was that it only comes 5 inches wide and that wasn't wide enough for my card, so I put two pieces side by side and hid the seam with a piece of pink ribbon, which I ended up liking, so it was a good thing!

Inside I put a piece of Washi tape down the side and added the sentiment and two 3D stickers that fit the ballerina theme perfectly!   I can just see this little girl dreaming of becoming a Ballerina!   This would be a perfect card for that little Ballerina in your life!

Hello everyone, there is a fun challenge going on over at House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge until Sunday at midnight.  The theme is "Splish Splash" and you are to use a stamp that has water in it!  I used this fun stamp that just makes me think of a lazy, hot summer day, when that cold glass of Pink Lemonade just hits the spot!
Doesn't this little Mousey, OOPS, I meant BUNNY, look comfortable with his little duck friend?
I colored everything with my Copic Pens, then added some blue glitter paper to the water for a wave effect, and also some Stickles to the water to look like ripples.  I put some yellow Stickles on the duck and some Wink Of Stella on the tube.   I used Glossy Accents on the glass.  The shells in the corners are Dazzle stickers and I added some gemstones.
I added the sun using an airbrush that I just got.  It is an airbrush system by Craftwell.  What I liked about this system was that it uses any pens by using adaptors, even kids Crayola markers, so you don't have to use your expensive Copic ink.  I used Sharpie pens to do the sun and I also lightly sprayed the white circle with the sentiment.   This was my first attempt at using it....I will have to practice with it!

I kept the inside rather simple....The sentiment is a Dazzle Sticker that made me laugh.  The large shell is another Dazzle, and I used my scraps on the inside.

I hope you get a chance to join in the fun over at House Mouse, or at least go and have a look at all the DT inspiration and the fabulous entries!
Thanks for stopping in, and have a great week!

Hi everyone...I hope you all had a super Memorial Day Weekend, filled with lots of BBQ's and glorious weather!  Summer is almost here!
Since today is Thursday, that must mean that there is a new Twisted Thursday Challenge at the Outlawz....and there is!!!    This is an easy one, with which to end the month!   The Twist is.....Anything Goes!   That's right, the challenge is as always, "Anything Goes....and the Twist is Anything Goes"!    So....Anything Goes!   Lets see those Father's Day cards, Graduation cards, special Occasion cards, the sky's the limit!
I have a cute image from Stitchy Bear called Floral Watering Can, and can be found here.
I colored the floral watering can image with my Copic Markers, cut it out with a square SB die and matted it on black.  I then used another SB die to cut the Lattice in the background, another one to cut the green stem, and another one to cut the butterflies.  I have a small punch that I used to cut the flowers.  I added some gemstones to the middle of the flowers and a couple of Ladybugs on the sentiment and the main image.

Inside are some more cutouts using SB Dies, a scalloped edge across the bottom and another Ladybug.
