About Me

My blog is called Mainely Cards, because  I live in Northern Maine!   I live in a very small town located way at the top of Maine on the Canadian Border!  I live here with my husband.   We have one daughter who is 26 and lives about 5 hours away.  I have had many pets over the years, and currently have 3 cats and 2 birds.   They keep me busy!

I enjoy all types of crafts, and over the years I have tried most of them.   About 1 1/2 years ago I became interested in learning to use Copic Pens.   I came across Suzanne Dean's classes and took all her classes and learned to use them, and am still learning new things every day!   This naturally led me to card making, and from there to the Outlawz!  I love this group of very talented people!   In August of 2013 I was asked to become a member of the Twisted Thursday Design Team!  I was beyond thrilled!  I am having so much fun working with all the ladies and have learned so many things.....like Blogging!   I have made many new friends, and love being able to talk to people all over the world!
