I am a little late this week, but here is my card for the new Twisted Thursday Challenge over at the Outlawz!   The theme is as always...Anything goes, with the twist being a "Recipe Card....use a flower, ribbon and a brad!   Come see some of the super entries that are coming in!!
I used the Silhouette machine to cut the silhouette image out of blue vellum from the Paper Temptress.   This is a heavier weight vellum and cuts beautifully!!  There is some glitter paper behind the flower in her hair ( it doesn't really show up here ).   She has a ribbon for her choker and a brad for the choker.   She also has some blue rhinestones for her earrings.   I used Spellbinders dies to cut the ovals to make the card look like an old fashioned cameo!

The inside just has some rhinestone bling added, with plenty of room to write a message!

Well, it's almost time for a new challenge at the Outlawz!   Starting tomorrow, August 22 -29, the new challenge will be "Your Favorite Things"!  As I was trying to decide what I could do, my husband said, "That's easy....Retail Therapy"!   I thought,  hmmmm, not a bad idea, so this is what I came up with!!
This is another Sherri Baldy design, who is the sponsor for the month of August at the Twisted Thursday challenge at the Outlawz.   She is called Bashful Betty, and was such fun to color.

I made an easel card, using a Spellbinders die.   The blue green paper is a mica metallic paper from the Paper Temptress.   It has a nice shimmer to it.

The shoe stamp and sentiments are a set I have had for a long time ( not sure who made it).
Bashful Betty is embellished with Glossy Accents on her eyes, and Stickles on her shoes.   Some rhinestone accents and some Perfect Pearls were added.

The Copic colors used to color the image.

This card was also entered in the CMC Challenge!  Another amazing site with a chance to win some awesome prizes!!

Hi Everyone, I have another card to share.   The next Twisted Thursday Challenge over at the Outlawz starts Thursday August 15 and runs for one week.   The challenge is always "Anything Goes" with the twist this week being mixed media!  Use any mixed media you want, the sky's the limit!  Sherri Baldy is the sponsor for the month of August.  You can win 5 of her fabulous designs!   They are just too cute!
This is a Sharri Baldy design called Dottie!   She is from the Oz series!  All the main characters are there and they are so cute and fun to color!   Of course I colored her using Copic Pens,  the colors are below.
I used Ranger alcohol inks on glossy paper for the rainbow.  The round green flower circle is cut from glitter paper ( stuff I had ) using the Martha Stewart circle punch.   It works really good!  Dottie has some stickles in her bow, on her dress and of course her ruby slippers!  Glossy Accents were used on Dottie's eyes!  I love that stuff! The yellow brick road ( at least that is what it is supposed to be ) is some type of glitter that my daughter had as a child, there is no label on it.   It is made of larger flat pieces.  I then added some Flower Soft flowers along the brick road ( my first time working with Flower Soft, I have a lot to learn).  The larger flowers at the bottom are Prima flowers with a brad, and the clouds at the top are from Jolee, and they are felt.
The inside of the card has a green floral paper that I just had in my stash.  I used a Martha Stewart corner and border punch around the edge.   I used a Memory Box die to cut the pale lavender sprig of flowers, and I used an EK punch to punch the fleur de lis from the same glitter paper I used on the front of the card.
I think that is all the mixed media I used!
Be sure to check the Outlawz site for lots of fun challenges every day!

Here is my first card that I am made for the Outlawz Twisted Thursday group as a new DT!   I am so excited and honored to have been asked!
The Challenge this week, starting on August 8 is Anything Goes with the twist being to make a Step Card!

The sponsor this month is Sherri Baldy.   You can win 5 of her awesome designs!!    This little cutie is called Clever Chloe.   I colored her with Copic Pens,  added some Glossy Accents to her glasses and added some Stickles to her hairband and dress buttons.   I cut the flowers with a  Stampin Up punch and added a brad and some more Stickles!   Gotta love Stickles!  There are some shiny accents in the corners from my stash.  The paper is from Stampin Up, and the flourishes were cut with a Memory Box die.   I used a Spellbinders die to cut out Clever Chloe and the step card was cut on my Cameo!
Come join us at the Outlawz!

Well, thanks to Pat St. Martin, I now have a blog that is up and running!!   She is so awesome, and knows everything about blogging!!   I can't thank her enough!!   Thanks, Pat!!!!!
