It's Thursday, and you know what that means!  Another brand new Twisted Thursday challenge at the Outlawz!  This week's theme is as always...."Anything Goes...with the optional twist being....add a pocket to your project"!
I cut this pocket card using  my Silhouette machine.  I added the small envelope to the front for a sentiment.  The envelope closes by wrapping a piece of Baker's Twine around a button type embellishment from Stampin Up.  I added flowers and vines and some gemstones.

The main image is pulled out with a piece of ribbon.   The sentiment has Baker's Twine.  The main image is an adorable image from Anne's Digital Art!  I colored this with Copic Pens, then used Gelatos to make a background, Distress Inks to distress the edges and some Stickles for the hearts in her hair.

There is a new challenge that started in January at Lauralcraft!  I missed the January challenge, but a dear friend sent me the link for the February challenge, so I thought I would give it a try!  The challenge theme is "Favorite Song"!  So, I started looking at my images and thinking about what I could do, after all, it is almost the end of February!  Anyway, this is what I came up with!  One of my favorite songs being "You Light Up My Life"!
I used this cute little Saturated Canary image.   I thought she looked like she might be going to a Prom, or out with her special someone!
This is a box card that I got from a card kit from Annie's Attic many years ago.   I kept the template so I could make it again.

It folds flat so that you can mail it.

And this is the side view when it is set up!
I hope you check out the challenge at Laurelcraft, and perhaps join them next month!
Thanks for stopping by!

Its Monday and the last House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge for the month of February is here!  This challenge is #164...Anything Goes!  Anything Goes is always such a fun challenge, because anything you create, works!   Get out your House Mouse Stamps and create something beautiful, and hop on over to HMFMC to enter your creation!
The stamp I used is called "Kitten Kisses", and I just thought is was adorable!   This stamp could be used for so many different occasions!  I layered many different layers of pink and teal papers.   I added the ribbon under the stamped layer.  I made the flowers using a new die I got from Heartfelt Creations.  It is called Tattered Flowers.  You get many different sizes of the flower die so you can layer them to make dimensional flowers in different sizes.
The mirror is covered in Glossy Accents to make it look like a shiny mirror.

The inside is a couple more layers of paper and a piece of Washi tape.

This is a side view to show the dimension of these flowers!   I love this new die!

Be sure to check out HMFMC for some inspiration and to enter your creation!

It's another Twisted Thursday!!  The new challenge is up over at the Outlawz, and this week the challenge is as always...."Anything Goes....with the twist being....Triple Play"!   Just use three of something!  I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!  I couldn't decide on any one group of three, so I have 3 groups of three things!
First, I have three butterflies, then three flower, button type embellishments from Stampin Up, and finally three rhinestones at the top!
This cute image, from Anne Fenton of Anne's Digital Art, is colored with Copic markers and I used Spellbinders Ovals to cut the image and the mat.
The paper is from a Bo Bunny 6x6 pad.

Inside, I used another SB Die to cut the flower shape, another corner die and Dazzle Dragonfly stickers.

There is another fun month long challenge happening at Deedee's Digis!  This is a progressive challenge, which means if you purchase the design one month and join the challenge, you automatically receive the next month's digi set for free!  As long as you join each month, you will automatically get next month's digi free.   You can get the current digi set two ways.....you can just purchase it for $1.25 ( and you get a lot....sentiments and pre-colored images, as well as a black and white image for you to color), or you can buy $10 worth of digs from the site and receive this set free!   There are such cute things there to pick from, so it is easy to spend $10!!
This turtle is just soooooo cute!
I colored the image with my Copic Pens, and did a fun stencil background that I learned in Marie Gamber's class Over at the CMC site!  This is such a great class!   Marie teaches you these wonderful background techniques that just make your images so much more interesting and complete!  Check it out!
I cut the image out using SB Oval Dies in several sizes.  I added some fun corner embellishments, cut the sentiment out and added Stickles to her "Party Shell", glossy accents to the balloon, and some sparkly flowers!  A bow and some rhinestones on the sentiment finished the front of the card.

The inside is the negative of the large oval cut, a SB butterfly, and a fun turtle border at the bottom.   There is a pale pink chalk distressing around the inside of the oval.
Be sure to check out this month long challenge at Deedee's Digis!

At the beginning of February a new challenge started at Words 2 Scrap By.   The challenge is called "Colors of the World"!   The challenge is to use the colors of the Olympic Rings!   Since it is already the middle of February, I figured I had better get going!  So here is my entry!
I used my Silhouette machine to cut out the world.   I then used a Joanna Sheen Signature Die to cut the fan shape in the colors of the Olympic rings.  The die is small and cuts each section  so you can make the fan as big as you want.   The hearts are pieces cut out from the fan.  I put a wide red satin ribbon behind the world and added some gems in the corners and the "Celebrate" and stars are Dazzle stickers.

The inside has more hearts cut from the fan design and more Dazzle stickers!
I hope you are enjoying watching the Olympics, I know I am!
Be sure to check out the challenge at Words 2 Scrap By!

Its Thursday and that means there is a brand new challenge at the Outlawz! The Twisted Thursday Challenge is as always...Anything Goes, with the twist being....Add A Flower To Your Card!  We are all looking forward to Spring and flowers, so lets start a little early and put some flowers on our cards! Sponsors for the month of February are
Anne's Digital Art
and Paper Temptress

This was such a fun card to do!   I decided on a step card, cut the base with my Silhouette Machine, then colored the image with Copic Pens.

The Silhouette machine cut the papers that fit on the front of the card and each of the steps.
After that it was just a matter of decorating with flowers.   I used Prima flowers, and I cut the grass using a die from Poppy Stamps.  I have a tiny dragon fly punch, and a tiny butterfly punch that I used to add to the scene.   The sentiment is from a set I have had for quite some time.

Some more pictures of the steps from the side, the top and closeup!

I hope you get a chance to join us over at the Outlawz!
Have a great week, and thanks for stopping by!

This adorable stamp is called "Mice Scream For Ice Cream"!
I  just thought that this stamp was so cute and perfect for a birthday card!
I have layered all different papers that had the same shade of purple.   I added some 3D stickers, some rhinestones, a bow and a sentiment.   I used Martha Stewart's tiny beads for the look of sprinkles.

Inside the card I added some Dazzle Stickers, ribbon and a sentiment!

I colored this adorable image with Copic Pens, and added some Glossy
Accents to the heart to make it look like a shiny box of candy!  I added some very pale pink hearts to the background using some SU markers.   I punched some glitter paper hearts to add and also the scalloped circle is cut from glitter paper.   The love circle is cut with a punch that was one of the first punches I ever bought.  Papers are cut with SB and layered.  I added Stickles to the hearts in her hair, and some more Glossy Accents to her shoes.

The inside is more layered papers cut with SB, some punched hearts and the edges are chalked with a pale pink color.
