March is quickly coming to an end!  March came in like a lion and I hope it is going out like a lamb wherever you are!  Thursday means its time for a new challenge at the Outlawz!  The Twisted Thursday challenge this week is..."Anything Goes...with the twist being....Add a Butterfly"!  Butterflies are a sure sign of spring!
I chose this beautiful pre-colored image from Nicecrane Designs.   It is from the Notes of an Edwardian Lady collection!   I printed it out on Neenah paper, added a die cut background, and two layers along with a ribbon.   I also added some die cut flowers and butterflies to the image to give it some dimension!  These images are so beautiful and they print so well!

Inside is just a repeat of one of the layer papers from the front and more flowers and butterfly die cuts!

It's the First Day of Spring....does it feel like spring where you are?  I hope so.  Besides being the first day of Spring, its also Thursday and that means a new Twisted Thursday Challenge is up and running at the Outlawz!  The challenge is "Anything Goes...with the twist being....Add texture"!  There are all kinds of ways to add texture, and I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!
I used another lovely image from Nicecrane Designs!   This series of images really reminds me of Hummel figurines.  I colored the image with Copic markers and then cut it out with a SB die.   The next layer is debossed.  I added ink to my embossing folder and got a letterpress effect.  I didn't add a lot of ink, so the effect is rather subtle.  Next there is a plain layer of textured card stock in the peach color, then a layer of burlap added some more texture, and the dark brown layer is a mica paper from our sponsor The Paper Temptress!   She has so many yummy papers!  I also added some Prima flowers, some pearls, and a small sentiment.

The inside is rather plain,  just some paper cut with the same SB die as was used on the front, and a dragonfly that was also cut with a SB die.

I have one more card to share today!  This is an adorable image all ready for those Easter Cards!  I am entering this one in the challenge at Deedee's Digis!  Deedee has a great challenge every month and if you enter the challenge, she generously sends you the next month's digis for free! So you only have to buy the digi the first time you enter, or if you skip a month.  And the digi sets are fabulous!   This month there are two large images, five sentiments and you even get the images pre-colored or as line drawings that you color yourself!   You get all of this for just $1.25!   How great is that?
Isn't this little cat the cutest? He was so much fun to color with my Copic Pens.  I cut him out using a SB oval die in keeping with the egg shape, and then another larger oval shape in dotted pink was used behind the main image.  I love the dots on the shell, so I used more dots in the background paper!  You cannot tell, but the main image is on one of those Wobblers, so he sways back and forth.   I added Wink of Stella to the ribbon wrapping around the egg, some bling at the top, a pink ribbon and bow and a paper flower I found in my stash.

The inside shows one of the sentiments that came with the digi set.  I cut it out with another fancy oval SB die and the layer behind it.   I added a border at the top and bottom and some flowers with little Dazzle centers.
I hope you will go check out the challenge at Deedee's, there are some awesome entries there.
Thanks for stopping by!

I have a card to share today that I am entering in two challenges: Words 2 Scrap By and House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge!   The theme at W2SB is centered around the Oscar's!   There are 4 movie related categories to choose from.   I chose option #3 " Here's Looking at You Kid" from Casablanca.   I found this adorable House Mouse stamp that had a sentiment that even said, "Here's Looking At You"!  How lucky was that!   Then, at House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge, the theme is Lost and Found!   This adorable little Gruffie Bear is so happy that he found his little buddy!
This stamp set is an unmounted set called "Slice Of Happiness".  There are two large stamps and two smaller ones in the set.  I colored the image with Copic Pens, cut the first two layers out with a SB Die and added a background paper from my stash.   Across the bottom I have a strip of Washi tape and small bow on top of that.   I added some flowers cut from the Washi tape with a small punch and some tiny Dazzles in the center of the flowers.   There is some more bling  the top corners, and I added some Glossy Accents to the magnifying glass!

The inside has some more Washi tape and a Hot Off The Press stamp.
I hope you will check out both of these challenges!
Thanks for stopping by!

Can you believe it is already the middle of March?  I hope spring is starting to arrive wherever you are!  Its still rather wintry in Northern Maine!  But, it is Thursday and the beginning of a new Twisted Thursday Challenge at the Outlawz!   The challenge is "Anything Goes....with the twist being...First Day Of Spring"!
I chose to use this beautiful image from Nicecrane Designs!  It is from the Country Diary Calendar.  It is a Pre-colored image that I printed out on Neenah paper.   It is matted on black and then on brown      Kraft paper from our sponsor The Paper Temptress!  I added some die cut branches to the scene and a sentiment that I distressed to match the antique look of the print.

The inside is simple with just a stamp of a bird on a branch, and Washi tape across the bottom.

Greetings, everyone, its Thursday and that means that a new exciting Twisted Thursday challenge is up and running over at the Outlawz!  The challenge this week is..."Anything Goes....with the twist being...Favorite Color"!
I used this adorable image from Nicecrane Designs!  She kind of reminds me of a Hummel figurine.
I used a SB die to cut the fancy oval and the plain ovals.  The image was colored with Copics, and I just added some gemstones at the top.

This is a view of the easel card open.  I used a stamp on the inside and a simple sentiment, and another die cut oval.
