Merry Christmas, everyone!  Even though it is Christmas, it is still Thursday, so that means that a new Twisted Thursday challenge is beginning today at the Outlawz!   This will give you a chance to try out all the new goodies you got for Christmas!   The challenge is the usual...Anything Goes...with the twist being...Anything Goes!  So...Anything Goes...whatever you make, enter it and show us what you have made!
I used this image from Anne's Digital Art.  I thought she looked like she was heading out to a fancy New Year's party.  I colored her with Copic Pens, then added some Stickles for sparkle, then layered the image on glitter paper.
A close up of the image and background.
Inside I added some glasses of champagne and a Happy New Year sentiment, with some glitter stars and a border at the bottom.

Our sponsor this month is Anne's Digital Art.   Be sure to visit to Anne to get some great digis!
Thanks for stopping by this week!
Merry Christmas!

The Outlawz is currently running their very first Progressive Challenge!   You still have time to get in on the fun.   Go to the Outlawz, click on the Progressive Challenge tab under challenges and follow the directions to get the first Freebie.   Enter the first time and you will automatically receive the next month's image for free!  This month the sponsor was Simply Betty and she supplied us with this adorable image called Tangled Wednesday!
I colored her with Copic Pens, added some Stickles for sparkle, then added some Dazzle stars and sentiment.  It is hard to see, but the background layer is holographic paper.   I didn't have any holographic paper, so I went to the Dollar Store and bought a gift bag and cut it up!  A large gift bag gives you a lot of surface area to use.   Just carefully take the bag apart , and lay it flat and cut out what ever you need!  This was a gold holographic bag.

I used the paper on the inside and I even punched the snowflakes out of the holographic paper.
The rest of the Dazzle sentiment is on the inside!
I hope you get a chance to join the Progressive Freebie challenge at the Outlawz!
Thanks for stopping by!

I have a new card to share today.  Deedee's Digis has their Progressive Challenge running and this month the image is another adorable set that can be used so many ways.
In the set, you get a girl bear skating and a boy bear skating!   I decided to use both.  I colored them with Prismacolor pencils.   I added Goosebumps texturizing spray that gave texture to the image, almost like tiny snowflakes.   It doesn't show in the photos, however.  I also added some punched out snowflakes and a snowflake border.

Inside is almost the same, but at the bottom I added one of the sentiments that came with the set.  This is such a fun image and can be used in so many ways!
I hope you find time to get over to Deedee's and join the challenge!
Thanks for stopping by!
Merry Christmas!

 A close-up of the snow.

I used this fun image from Anne's Digital Art.   I colored it with Copic Pens, and added some sparkly embellishments to make the snow sparkle.  I also used Aleene's Snow Glitter to make the furry parts of the snowsuit.   It gives lots of texture.

Close-up of the texture.

Inside, is a simple sentiment cut using a SB Die!

I hope you stop by Anne's Digital Art to see all of the beautiful choices of digital art!

Close-up of the glitter used for the snow.

I used some die cuts to make it look snowy on the inside, too!

Happy Thanksgiving, Everyone!   I hope everyone is enjoying good food, family and friends, and maybe football!  Once Thanksgiving is over, we turn our thoughts to the next big holidays!  A new Twisted Thursday challenge is getting started over at the Outlawz!   And this week the challenge is "Anything Goes....with the twist being...Winter Sparkles at Christmas"!  Our sponsor this week is Stitchy Bear!  I chose this beautiful image of a serene woodland setting with a decorated tree!  A beautiful tree for all the animals to enjoy!
This image just needed a little bit of coloring with Copic Pens.  I aded some kids glitter glue to the branches of the tree.   This is a cheap glitter glue from Wal-Mart, but it works great.   It picks up the colors around it and when it dries, it doesn't rub off!  I also added some red glitter balls to the tree using a punch, and then added clear glitter nail polish to the snowy ground beneath the tree.

Inside, I used a die to cut some trees and the greeting!   At the top is a white glitter star that was also cut with a die.
Thanks for stopping by to visit!
Have a great week!

Happy Thursday and its one week before Thanksgiving!   The Holidays are upon us!   I know everyone is super busy, but I hope you will check out the new Twisted Thursday Challenge over at the Outlawz!  This weeks challenge is, "Anything Goes...with the twist being...Your Favorite Color at Christmas!"   If you have been busy making Christmas cards, come and share them with us!  Our sponsor is the awesome Stitchy Bear
I chose this adorable image called Baby Baubles to make my card.   I love blues at Christmas, so that is what I used.  I made an easel card for my image.

A closeup of Baby Baubles.  I colored her with Copic Pens, then added some kids glitter glue to the furry part of her hat, gloves and socks!  The kids glitter glue is very sparkly, and tends to pick up the colors around it!  I added Stickles  to the Holly Berries an leaves, and also to the tops of the ornaments.   For the ornaments, I first colored them with
Copics, then I added glitter nail polish for sparkle.
I added a sponged background in multiple shades of blue around the image and also on the inside.

When the card is open you have Joy cut out of blue glitter paper and an ornament cut out of foil paper, all on top of the same sponged background.
I hope you join us at the Outlawz this week!
Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Thursday!  Today a new challenge starts at the Outlawz.   The challenge is the usual, "Anything Goes...with the Twist being...Give Thanks"!  Our sponsor is Stitchy Bear this week, and I used this image called Give Thanks!
I colored the Pilgrims with my Copic Pens.  I then added the trees to the background with a stamp from Stampin Up, in a light green.  I then sponged the background using Distress Inks and a sea sponge.   I punched out some pumpkins and added some pop dots to give them some dimension.

Inside I added some die cut borders, a sentiment and some stamped pumpkins!
I hope you join us at the Outlawz this week!  Don't forget to check out the super images at Stitchy Bear!

Hello and Happy Thursday!   November is here already!  A new month means a new sponsor for the Twisted Thursday Challenge at the Outlawz!   This month's sponsor is Stitchy Bear!  Today's new challenge is "Anything Goes...with the twist being...Add a Button!"  There are so many ways to add buttons to a card.   I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!  I used this cute image called Merry Moccasin!
I colored the image with my Copic Pens, then cut it out.   I added some Stickles to some areas for added sparkle, added two real feathers over top of the printed ones, and mounted the image on Pop Dots so it was raised.   My button is holding the moccasin up!   I used a button from my antique button box.  It is a button with a shank, so I used Glossy accents to hold it in place.   I mounted this on some Christmas paper.  I added another Christmas tree that I cut out with a new Stampin Up punch with the coordinating stamp!

On the inside I used the leftover paper after the middle section was removed, and added a die cut sentiment!
I hope you get a chance to join us at the Outlawz this week!
Be sure to visit our awesome sponsor for some cute images!

The theme is the usual "Anything Goes...with the twist being...An Easel Card!"  So, show us your newest creations featuring an Easel Card!  Our sponsor this month is:

I used this adorable sleeping elephant to make a Get Well Card.  I colored the image with Prismacolor  Pencils.  I cut the image, layers and the card base using a SB Die.  The dark blue layer is cut from glitter paper, as are the little hearts.  The sentiment is one I have had for years.

Inside, I added another SB Die cut using two different sizes of labels, added some gems to keep the card open and two larger glitter hearts!
I hope you find time to join us at the Outlawz with your Easel Cards this week.

Hello everyone, and happy Thursday!  Since its Thursday, that means there is a new challenge starting at the Outlawz!  This week the theme is 'Anything Goes...with the twist being...Favorite
Technique!"  Our sponsor for this week is

I used this adorable polar bear and penguin image.  I love embossing, and I especially love embossing Shimmer Sheetz!  They are so bright and sparkly!  This card is embossed with a snowflake folder on both layers, added a glitter layer in white and some punched snowflakes.  The image was colored with Copic Pens, and then I added glitter nail polish to the iceberg to make it look icy!  The last thing I did was mount the image on a Wobbler so it looked like they were bobbing in the water!

Inside, I added a winter tree, a sentiment and some snowflakes!
Thanks for stopping in and have a great week!

I colored this one with Prismacolors!  The leaves at the bottom are a stamp from Sweet and Sassy stamps, and I added a few to the background to look like leaves blowing in the wind.

This is an easel card, and inside I used one of Deedee's sentiments!

The easel card in the open position.   Inside I chalked with a light orange to give some subtle shading to the white area, and a bit heavier around the sentiment.
I also added some leaves that were cut using a die.
I hope you go on over to Deedee's Digis to check out the challenge...you still have plenty of time to join this month!
