Hello everyone, there is a fun challenge going on over at House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge until Sunday at midnight.  The theme is "Splish Splash" and you are to use a stamp that has water in it!  I used this fun stamp that just makes me think of a lazy, hot summer day, when that cold glass of Pink Lemonade just hits the spot!
Doesn't this little Mousey, OOPS, I meant BUNNY, look comfortable with his little duck friend?
I colored everything with my Copic Pens, then added some blue glitter paper to the water for a wave effect, and also some Stickles to the water to look like ripples.  I put some yellow Stickles on the duck and some Wink Of Stella on the tube.   I used Glossy Accents on the glass.  The shells in the corners are Dazzle stickers and I added some gemstones.
I added the sun using an airbrush that I just got.  It is an airbrush system by Craftwell.  What I liked about this system was that it uses any pens by using adaptors, even kids Crayola markers, so you don't have to use your expensive Copic ink.  I used Sharpie pens to do the sun and I also lightly sprayed the white circle with the sentiment.   This was my first attempt at using it....I will have to practice with it!

I kept the inside rather simple....The sentiment is a Dazzle Sticker that made me laugh.  The large shell is another Dazzle, and I used my scraps on the inside.

I hope you get a chance to join in the fun over at House Mouse, or at least go and have a look at all the DT inspiration and the fabulous entries!
Thanks for stopping in, and have a great week!

Hi everyone...I hope you all had a super Memorial Day Weekend, filled with lots of BBQ's and glorious weather!  Summer is almost here!
Since today is Thursday, that must mean that there is a new Twisted Thursday Challenge at the Outlawz....and there is!!!    This is an easy one, with which to end the month!   The Twist is.....Anything Goes!   That's right, the challenge is as always, "Anything Goes....and the Twist is Anything Goes"!    So....Anything Goes!   Lets see those Father's Day cards, Graduation cards, special Occasion cards, the sky's the limit!
I have a cute image from Stitchy Bear called Floral Watering Can, and can be found here.
I colored the floral watering can image with my Copic Markers, cut it out with a square SB die and matted it on black.  I then used another SB die to cut the Lattice in the background, another one to cut the green stem, and another one to cut the butterflies.  I have a small punch that I used to cut the flowers.  I added some gemstones to the middle of the flowers and a couple of Ladybugs on the sentiment and the main image.

Inside are some more cutouts using SB Dies, a scalloped edge across the bottom and another Ladybug.

I have a fun card today that would be perfect to bring a smile to an adult, needing Get Well Wishes!  It was a fun image to color from Stitchy Bear, called flu shot!   The Twisted Thursday Challenge at the Outlawz this week is..."Anything Goes, with the twist being ...use metallics or tin foil"!
I embossed a piece of Spellbinder's Craft Foil with an embossing folder.  The craft foil embosses so beautifully!  The SB craft foil comes in assorted colors.   You can also buy craft foil on a roll, and you can use regular tin foil.  The image was colored with Copics, and some background layers were added along with some ribbon.

The inside has some borders, a get well sentiment and a band-aid, all from Dazzle stickers!
Here are two links to videos showing you how you can use regular tin foil to emboss!

Hello everyone...I have a new card to share that I made for the challenge over at Deedee's Digis!   The image for the month of May works perfectly for masculine cards for Father's Day, or birthdays!   My husband has a birthday at the end of May which usually falls on the Memorial Day weekend, so I decided to make this card for him, and since it is the Memorial Day weekend, I went with red, white and blue!
I used  my trusty SB dies and cut the scalloped layers.   I then used another die to cut a cloud shape for the sentiment.  I cut the shape once in just white and then a second time in blue glitter paper and then just offset them a little so a tiny portion of the blue glitter paper is showing.  I then adhered the cloud shape with Pop Dots, so it would be raised and stand out.  I added some red Stickles to the gift bag heart, and some green Stickles in the lower left corner.

On the inside I used one of the sentiments that came with the set from Deedee!  I think this is so cute.   I just repeated the scalloped design and then using the same red, white and blue to mat the sentiment!
I hope you find time to get over to Deedee's and enter the challenge!   If you enter this month you will automatically receive next month's digi set for free!   And you get so much in these sets!   They are so nice and can be used so many ways!
Thanks for stopping by!
Have a great weekend!

Happy Thursday, everyone!   Thursday means a brand new Twisted Thursday Challenge has been launched at the Outlawz!  Today's challenge is "Anything Goes, with the Twist being...Things That Fly"!   When you think about it, there are a lot of things that fly!  I can't wait to see what flying things everyone comes up with!
I used this Stitchy Bear image called Fairy Daydream!   She is so cute with her pigtails.
I colored her with Copic Pens, and used Wink Of Stella on her wings and shoes, along with some Stickles on the stars on her wings.   I then added some Dazzle stickers of butterflies and dragonflies and a piece of lace across the bottom.

The inside has the same background paper and some Dazzle stickers and borders.  The middle was cut out using a SB die!

Words 2 Scrap By has a fun challenge going on for the month of May.   This is a month long challenge, so you still have time to get in on it and win some awesome prizes!  The theme this month is "Bloom Where You Are Planted"!   Check the DT inspirations and also from fellow crafters!   There are some gorgeous projects already there to help inspire you!  And now for my entry....
A box card, that was surprisingly easy to make!   I tried to take pictures of all angles to give you an idea of what it looks like.   I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut the card out.   There are many files for these cards at the Silhouette store

Another view with a paper bow on the front!

One more view of the card opened!

And this view shows how the card folds flat for mailing!   It fits a standard A2 envelope.   The nice thing about the Cameo cutting it is that it cuts all the pieces to the exact size needed, no measuring necessary!   Just changing the paper you use can change the whole look of the card!
Stop by W2SB and see all the awesome entries already there!

Today's Twisted Thursday Challenge at the Outlawz  is " Anything Goes, with the twist being to use
Die Cuts and Punches"  I used an image from Stitchy Bear called Wine Barrel!  This was a fun image to color with my Copic Pens.  I added some Glossy Accents to the wine bottles and some Wink Of Stella to the metal bands on the barrel.  I used a SB die to cut the leafy branches across the top and I used two Stampin Up punches to cut out the sentiment and the background layer.
I used an assortment of dotted papers from Bo Bunny to mat the image.

The inside has borders cut from a SB die, and a sentiment keeping with the French Wine theme.

Our April snow "showers", have not brought any May flowers, yet!  But it is May 1, and it is Thursday, so that means a new Twisted Thursday Challenge is up and running at the Outlawz!  This week the challenge is as always..."Anything Goes...with the twist being, Bingo"!  The bingo chart is here:
Make Bingo horizontally, vertically or diagonally and use those elements in your card!  I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!  Here's  mine!  I used the middle bingo line going across.  The glitter or sparkles was added to the boot strap.   I used my Silhouette to cut the card base and the boot.  I ran the boot strap though the Xyron and then added brown glitter to the sticky side along with a bronze brad.  Next in the bingo line was using a stamped or digi image.   I used a Cowgirl image from Stitchy Bear, called Cowgirl digiblessings, and last in the bingo line was patterned paper, and I cut my boot from pink patterned paper to look like tooled leather.

A closeup of the digi image and sentiment with some added bling.

This is an easel card and this is the card in its open position!
