It's the last Thursday in July, and we have a fun challenge for the Twisted Thursday Challenge at the Outlawz!   The challenge is as always..."Anything Goes...with the twist being...Feet"!  I thought this was such a fun creative idea for a challenge!  There are just so many ways to go with this theme!    I used this fun image from Stampingbella called The Right Shoes!   This is a rubber stamp and it comes with the sentiment.   This set reminds me so much of my daughter and I will be sending her this card!  She loves those shoes with the red soles, by the famous designer, so that is why they are colored this way!
I colored with my Copic Pens and just added a bit of Wink Of Stella to the legs and the red part of the soles, and a gem to the bow, and more gems and a bow along the side.   I wanted it to be all done in black, white and red, with just the flesh tone on the legs.

Inside was rather simple using SB Wonky rectangle dies and the sentiment that came with the stamp, again in the black, white and red.
I hope you all have that right pair of shoes that makes you feel this way!

I have a new Twisted Thursday Challenge entry to share.   This week at the Outlawz, the new Twisted Thursday Challenge is, as always, "Anything Goes...with the twist being...Anything Goes"!   That should be an easy one for everyone, so let us see what you have been creating!
I was anxious to use this beautiful Tiger Lily image from Anne Fenton.
I tried something new...I didn't use Copic Pens, instead I used water soluble crayons!   The whole image was colored with these water soluble crayons, and it was fun and easy to do!  The color is rich and vibrant in the flower, but it is subtle in the background.   The intensity was easy to control.
I did add some Stickles to the spots on the flower, and to the butterfly bodies.

Inside is just a couple of SB die cuts, and the butterflies are another die cut!

Happy Sunday afternoon, everyone!   I have a new card to share with you today!   It is for the Deedee's Digis challenge.  This is a monthly progressive challenge.  If you enter the challenge every month, you automatically get the next month's digs free!   How great is that?  Just buy it the first time, and then enter every month!   It is a fabulous deal!
Isn't this little guy, cool?  He is just chillaxing in his tub of ice cubes!
I colored him with Copics, cut him out with a SB die and mounted him on a piece of Shimmer  Sheetz!   This stuff is awesome!   It is so sparkly and shiny, and changes color in the light.   It also embosses really well, but this time I did not emboss it.  This was then mounted on a sheet of purple card stock and then on the striped paper with a bit of Washi tape to add some visual interest.
I added Glossy Accents to the ice cubes, and some Perfect Pearls to the feet and beak of the little penguin.

Inside I used one of the sentiments that came with the set and just mounted it on the same purple card stock, and added some more of the same Washi tape.
I hope you will stop by Deedee's Digis, and join in on the fun!
Thanks for stopping by!
Have a great week!

Wow, its the middle of July already!  What is your favorite summer activity?  What do you like to do in the "Good Old Summer Time"?  That is the twist this week at the Outlawz Twisted Thursday Challenge!   The challenge is, as always..."Anything Goes...with the twist being...In the Good Old Summer Time"!   I'm sure we will see lots of interesting ideas this week!  I can't wait to see what everyone makes!
I chose this adorable image by Anne Fenton called "Freddie's BarBQ"!  It just looked so summery to me!   He is sitting on his Lily pad catching bugs!
I colored the image with my Copic Pens.   I used Gelatos to make the setting sun and sky background.   I also added some Gelatos to the water over top of the Copics.   I wasn't sure if that would work, but it does!  I was able to add the purple mauve color to the water this way.  Little Freddie has some Stickles added to the spots on his back, and I added some cut out butterflies and dragonflies, and a bit of greenery to the scene.
Inside I just added some more die cuts from a SB die.

Did everyone have a nice 4th of July?   I hope all your celebrations went well!
Summer is moving right along, and this week at the Outlawz, the Twisted Thursday Challenge is "Anything Goes...with the Twist being...Fun In The Sun"!  There are so many ways to go with this fun challenge!   I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!
I used this super cute golf girl from Anne Fenton, who happens to be one of our awesome sponsors this month, along with Paper Temptress!
I colored her with my Copic Pens, used a SB die to cut the image out, then matted it on black, added a sentiment, and then some Dazzle stickers along the edges, in white!   I thought these stickers looked like lace.   I also added some pearls to each corner of the black layer and a fun gingham bow!

The inside has more of the same background paper, cut with a Martha Stewart edge punch and a SB die!
I hope you find time to join us at the Outlawz this week!
Thanks for stopping by!

Tomorrow is the 4th of July, and I hope everyone has some great plans to celebrate!  It's July and hot, so probably the last thing you are thinking about is Christmas, but start thinking snow and Christmas, because the new Twisted Thursday challenge over at the Outlawz is "Anything Goes...with the twist being...Christmas in July"!  It will be fun to get out all that Christmas paper and bling to make a card!     It also gives you a chance to get a head start on making all those holiday cards!
I chose to use this Christmas Bow design by Anne Fenton, who is one of our sponsors this month!
I colored the image with my Copic pens, added some Stickles to the bow and leaves, and Glossy Accents to the holly berries.  I used a SB die to cut  layers of scalloped circles, in Christmas papers, that were then mounted to a square piece of Christmas paper.  A red glitter paper bow was added and a Pointsettia flower was added to the corner.

Inside there is a Christmas paper die cut, layered on top of some matching paper.   The Merry Christmas was cut with a die.  Three gemstones were added to give the easel card a way to stay open.
